Admissions System
Comprehensive Selection Entrance Examination: Programming Achievement Evaluation
In recent years, there has been an increase in high school students who are familiar with programming from their junior and high school days, participate in hackathons (events focused on software development and improvement within a short period), compete in software development contests, win awards, or release apps for smartphones. Such students can apply through a two-step process: the first stage is a document screening, and the second stage involves presentations or similar activities, where their practical experience is actively evaluated. After the announcement of results, they are still eligible to apply for the publicly recruited recommended entrance exam, which increases their chances of admission.
In addition to the comprehensive selection entrance exam, there are various other admission systems, such as general entrance exams and school-recommended entrance exams.
Please visit the Meijo University Admissions Information website for more details about the admissions system.
